Distronic visit workshop
I have a 2004 Mercedes Benz E320 4Matic Wagon and the instrument cluster read 1 malfunction distronic visit workshop. Aside from actually taking this to the dealership any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue myself?

My car is CL55amg 2003. I found a fuse location chart on rear tire tool tray. You might have it on your car too. If not google search might have offer more info. Its pricy repair if its not a bad fuse, I been driving with same warning for while...

You could get an ELM27 and the Torque app. They're cheap and will help out with basic code reading.
To really know what's going on you may need to get it hooked up to Star or an equivalent.
Where are you located? Quite a few people on here have access to Star/DAS/Xentry and maybe someone would be willing to help you out.

I've been searching online and I have come up with plenty of fuse diagrams or rather table charts with fuse numbers, functions, and amp ratings but I have yet to come across any fuse diagram for the w211 that shows which fuses are responsible for proper operation of the distronic.

Can it be disabled by pulling a fuse?
will cruise control still work?
cuz ive never been able to use my cruise and i assume cuz it has the distronic malfunction?
MAYBE im hoping cruise will start to work if /when distronic fuse is pulled, assuming cruise and distronic are not same fuse !?
