E55 engine cover emblem

Folks I searched a lot mfor the info on how to fix a missing AMG engine cover MB sign. I finally decided to dodge the bullet and try it on myself it came out perfect or so I think so I am sharing with you the how-to.
What you need:
a 75mm MB star the trunk one is a perfect size and it is less than 10$
metal snips
a speaker cover (black)
a high temp epoxy stick

Get the cover and a piece of paper place the cover upside down on the paper and using a pen trace the sixe of the hole.
Cut the paper around the trace but add 2 or 3 mm in diameter all around don't worry about cutting it perfect you'll stick it on the back of the cover.
use regular tape and stick the paper disk on the speaker mesh
Use the snips to cut the mesh according to the paper template
Mix the epoxy and rolling it in your hands like the play-doh make a thin string.
Get mesh disk you cut above and pul it on the back of the cover
Get the epoxy string and press it around the edges of the mesh all around. Make sure it doesn't show through the mesh when looking on the other side.
Get the emblem and remove about 3mm of the two sided tape in the middle of the star.
get a small ball of epoxy and put it where you removed the tape.
Press the star in position.
Get another small ball of epoxy and press it on the back of the mesh on the middle of the star so that it gets through the holes to the one you pressed earlier .
Leave it for 24 hours to cure the epoxy.

How much are M113K covers? A new M156 one can be had for $120ish shipped.

Not sure I think they can be around 150-160$ but most will be missing the emblem anyways.

$180 for a new one from the dealer. I'd rather pay that than have an off center star.

I'd rather fix it but for some buying it works too.
