2003 E 500 Acceleartion creeps
Ok Long story short got a 2003 E500 Given to me with a few issues "Alternator, Fuel Pump, Battery" all dead got those fixed kicked the car over put it in gear and blah no go go it creeps if your a little ninny on the peddle but all I have is a ESP code thats it. Any directions anyone can point me at because it seems there is a few issues that can come up from TPS sensor to Map sensor. I did drain ALL the gas because car sat for 3 years and refilled it to a qtr tank with clean gas to make sure. And did change the filter assembly. But kind of stumped without any codes other then the ESP light see shop bit. I can get it to rev in nurtral when its warming up but once warm its just something to put your foot on and not much else. In gear its like nothing and couldnt get out of the way of a toddler crawling.

Reset the esp by turning the steering wheel lock to lock and holding it for a couple seconds each way. Do the same to the windows and sunroof while you're at it. TPS needs to be reset through the dash after you can drive it. Buy the dipstick tool and check the tranny fluid, then replace the map sensor. It could be the gas pedal itself, but i doubt it. Best bet is to find someone with a star system or pay for a proper scan.
