Traded the 2008 EClass
after ten years and 72,000 miles I traded in my MB for a lease return 2015 BMW 528i XDrive with 15,000 miles, I still have my 2014 ML350 that I bought new.
I am really surprised how backwards MB is on something’s, on the BMW I was able to update the head unit software not by going to the dealer but by just downloading it from the internet onto USB and placing it into the port. Viloa automatically installs, now supports more functions including updated Bluetooth and new Apple and Android phones that were just released.
Map update cost me under $35.00 via download and install via USB. Honestly amazed of this functionality.
i was also able to change values via my phone on how to change options on welcome lights, door locking, stop and start options at redlights, it just unlimited. Even different startup screen logos.
It just makes me wonder why MB is so complicated and restricted
