2008 E350 front end suspension

Hello -
I have a 2008 E350 with about 140k miles on it. Drive well, with one exception. When driving, even gently, from elevated roads (e.g. parking lots) that dip into the main road, the front end is prone to bouncing down onto the front tires. Looking at the car, the overall ride height in the front seems to be ok (possibly a tad low), but otherwise pretty normal. Is there something I can check / adjust / replace to get the front end solid and "less bouncy". In the old days, would have thought the coil springs were just shot....
Any thoughts or diagnostic suggestions would be much appreciated.

David

2016 E350 Sport; Mom Wrecked the 2008 E350; sold the 2002 C320
I have an '08 W211 myself that used to do that when I bought it. Replacing struts and shocks fixed it (once I had them pulled I realized how shot they were), then I went ahead and did the whole front suspension components (and the rear last week) which did wonders for the car's handling.

I went with Bilstein HD struts/shocks and all Lemforder for the suspension components. Turned out a tas expensive but well worth it.

E350 sport
Looks like I need new front lower arms and struts. Really the bushings are leaking but it seems replacing the arm is the way to go. I have a 2008 E350 sport package car and wondering which struts are correct. When looking up the parts on line it seems suggest cars with certain codes. I assume this is for the sport package but I do not see a code on any paperwork I have. Not sure if I will do the rears at the same time.

The rears will also go bad. It will develop a clunk sound when going over bumps. Rears are really easy to change, you might as well do it at the same time as the fronts.

W212 E250 (W211 E350 RIP)
Shouldn't be a big surprise that an 11 year old car needs shocks/struts

You wrote "new front lower arms" -- there's two different sorts of arms down there. 140 is called "strut rod" in EPC, and sometimes called a "torque strut". I believe the MB part 140 is sold without the bearing assembly (145/150), but folks like FCPEuro sell it as a unit (arm + bushing assembled). Part 100 is called "Spring Link" or "Transv. Control Arm" in EPC, and FCPEuro calls that a "lower control arm".
