HELP! E320 CDI SPORT 3.0 V7 7G
When starting my 2006 Mercedes e320 3.0 v6 7g it makes a loud clunk noise and goes, then when putting into D their is serious vibrations and noise, neutral there is a minute and reverse is little noise however remains and in park it disappears.
When driving or reving the engine there is no noise in any gears.
Was first diagnosed with gearbox mount, that was put in but no effect.
Could be Engine mount which shows play or heard of propshaft bush failing.
HELP
Any recommendations?

They hydro motor mounts are hard to diagnose, but if they are old, or you have any doubt about them - replace them.
I just replaced MM on my Bluetec that I replaced 20k miles ago. The difference in height was like 2 mm, but it did make the difference.
Now I need to replace 2nd one.

I doubt it's the engine mounts if the issue disappears when the car is in park. You can still feel blown out engine mounts then.
