Question Back-up battery under the hood?

Hi all, I need help trying to locate a positive connecting point under the hood. Can someone please tell me were to locate the back-up battery? Thanks

check ur trunk, on the left side, under the tools...better yet, check your manual

It on the passenger side between the shock tower and the windshield base. Under a black plastic cover.

Hey thanks Norb, any idea on how I would open up the black plastic box? I think I saw it yesterday while under the hood, but didn't pay too much attention to it cause it has an A/C label on it. Thanks

Yup, I found the the small back-up battery. Anyone has any ideas on how to remove the box to get to the terminal? Thanks

Hi

I think the battery under the hood is for the braking system. The one in the boot runs everything else.
