2009 4matic e350 rear CV boot, inner
I have noticed that the inner CV boot on the rear CV axle (passenger side) is sweating oil a bit. It must be a small leak as it has not sprayed oil anywhere onto the differential or the chassis.
Looking on pelican parts, I only see FRONT CV boot kits.
Any idea if the front ones are compatible with the rear?
I am tempted to wrap it in saran wrap and then gorilla glue tape.
I cannot find any rear axles either for this car that are rebuilt.

I am going to go full bubba and saran wrap this german machine. I will do my best to use duct tape instead of zip ties.
I now understand why rear half axles are used, instead of a solid live axle. This way it creates an independent rear suspension setup.
I find it hard to justify pulling out an entire axle just to replace the boot at this time. (On top of that a boot I cannot find )
