W211 Blower motor (Aircon) chirping noise
When the blower motor is running it makes a sort of chirping sound. I removed the blower motor and put a spot of oil where it spins and then it ran perfectly with no noise at all. The problem is that the noise keeps coming back. If the fan isn’t running for a while (couple days) then I put on the noise comes back. It isn’t as bad as before i put some oil but it is there. Is there some special type of oil or grease that you’re supposed to use or how else would you fix this?

Mine was doing similar minor chirping two winters ago when starting up in below freezing temperatures.
I bought a spare fan motor in anticipation of failure and now after about 40,000 miles of driving the same original fan motor is still working fine!
Oh well, I will just keep the spare fan motor...

Usually easier to swap in a junkyard motor than to try and remedy the most likely dried out bearings or brushes.
Was it hard to remove the blower motor? Any tips on location?

Remove the blower motor - very easy. Use a toothpick or something similar to drip oil down the exposed motor shaft. Let it seep into the bearings. I used 0w-40 Mobil 1. Chirp is gone for over 2 years.

How much of oil did you use? Every time I put oil it stops for a while but then comes back after a couple days.

I applied enough oil to seep into each bearing on both sides of the bearing. I didn't install it back in right away - but let it set on each end for about 30 mins. I dabbed up the extra with q-tips.

No need to swap out motors, etc. The fix to this is not at the top shaft where the fan spins but rather the bottom shaft/bearing. Gain access to this area (do a search if you can't figure it out) and mash a good glob of high-temp wheel bearing grease up in there. Use your finger to mash it in there and do it several times to pack it in there a la a wheel bearing and you'll be good to go indefinitely. If you're just using oil, it's obviously not going to last.
