SBC Pump failure

Good afternoon,

I also belong to the group of owners that have w211 (2002). My SBC pump failed once and i need to replace it.
I've searched all over internet and i cannot seem to find any other compatible serial numbers for a replacement, it's damn hard to find the same number.

Can you guide me where to look for compatible versions?
My SBC Pump serial is A0044314212 Q7 and my VIN : WDB2110161A109010.

LOTS of reading in this forum on this subject. Surprised you missed the sticky at the top of this forum.
Mercedes has extended the warranty for the SBC units to 25 years. Go to your mercedes dealer (even if they're far away it is worth it) and have them replace it on their dime.

I realize you're probably in Europe somewhere, but your car is considered a 2003 by damn near everyone on this board. Calling it a 2002 will just confuse people. The 2002 model year cars were still W210.

Build date and model year are not the same thing.

It is MB USA that extended the warranty on SBC up to 25 years, but did not hear about any other country following.
Strigoi has a point that till you fill up the profile, or let us know what car you have - we can walk in the dark trying to help you.
So help us help you

My guess is that the part is a rebuilt unit with a different part number than a new part. You probably need something like EPC or find someone on here with access to it to figure out the part number. Not sure how much EPC is in your country, they sell knock off ones on eBay for $10, at least in the US. It's not easy to figure out how to use though. Normally in the US, you'd go to the parts counter, give them your vin and they'd figure out the part number.

Here is VIN specific EPC compatible #s, not certain why 4212 is not listed.
