my oil tube

so I knocked off the oil dipstick tube "cap" by accident while pulling off my intake cover unit and took a look down the tube and discovered this lodged into it.. wtf is this? this isn't normal is it?

Is it the rest of your tube cap (did you break the cap into two pieces)?

ahh...silly me
yes it is the end of it. I didn't take it into consideration that it was the other half because ive taken that cap off before and it looked exactly as it does now so I never knew it was broken already so I thought it was supposed to look a certain way but yes in fact, it is the rubber seal part that is stuck inside of the tube..





hope I can pull it out with something since my needle nose pliers are to big to fit in there.

I doubt it will be necessary but removing the entire tube is not that much work. Just get a new o ring where it pushes into pan. Total overkill because you should be able to fish that out but just in case.

A pick type tool with a very short fishhook at the end will pull that tip out I bet.
