2007 E350 Accident, Totaled? PICS
Hi, was involved in a three car accident. We were in the front, it was hard enough to trigger the neck pro head restraint so those have popped open, the gas tank lid no longer aligns with the rear quarter panel, bumper is warped in spots, the right door no longer closes that well (the door funk doesn't sound the same) the finger can fit in the trunk lid taillight gap on one side. Seems like a small accident, but it was enough to bend the frame to that position.

Sad to see the waste of three nice cars, but I hope all the people are OK.
Looks like the body of your car worked as designed (no frame).
It would be interesting to hear how much the insurance initially offers for your 2007 E350 4Matic?
How many miles on it?

I'm in Canada, 256,000KM. the door gaps are all messed up pretty bad, the door doesn't funk doesn't sound right, the gas tank flap no longer lines up with the body.

Don't think insurance will pay much and with low car value they will total it, but if you like the car, you can buy the wreck back from the insurance, buy identical car with lower mileage and use this one as part donor.
That require some storage, but gives you cheap parts when you need them.
Good luck with insurance.

Got the estimate from my insurance company, and he was be very unreasonable with the amount of repairs needed. With an estimate of a little over $1500, the part that doesn't make sense is that he believe the door and fuel tank cover just needs to be realigned which is something I totally disagree with. I believe the Frame has sifted over a bit.
So far the only parts that are actually being replaced is:
The chrome impact strip
The rear impact strip
So far its just a puliminary estimate, but so many things just aren't adding up.
Another thing is they say that the reinforcement bar doesn't need to be changed, but this is a higher speed impact then compared to last time, which also doesn't add up.
