Sunglass reference was used as an example...
This isn't a sunglasses issue. The sunglass anology was used to paint a picture. The dim messages that appear on my left guage. i.e. marker light out, parking lamp out, etc. are actually displaying dimmer than usual, about half intensiyy. And it's not all the time. Some days the level of brightness is normal, other days it's dim.

See here: https://www.benzworld.org/forums/w21...ter-issue.html your IC part # should be 2115404148 or 2115404348 need VIN to confirm, search used to swap board. Only other option is to replace IC via dealer or independent.
