Cracked exhaust flanges replacements?

Is there a way or a repair kit for the mid exhaust flanges? They are rusted and WIS implies that they come pre mounted on the pipes. I wouldn't want to buy the entire exhaust for these.

Thank you

Haha...just encountered this exact same issue during my warranty fuel tank replacement. There is no replacement part for this from Mercedes. You can only replace the entire muffler assembly. I just ended up having everything welded together.

In your second picture the pipe in the foreground is called by MB "slip fit" and has as separate parts a ring and a clamp that will be on the upstream pipe The other 3 clamps appear to be pre-installed on the pipes. I am getting the 2 MB parts plus this that was made for BMW and has good chance to fit there, https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E46-M3-....c100706.m4781. I really would not want to weld them.
I can't attach pictures on this forum if my life depended on it.

came across this thread searching for exhaust flange repair ideas. My exhaust has the ball joint type connections and the one with the additional sealing ring is corroded and broken off. My idea is to cut off the damaged flange part and slide on a new piece over the remaining straight section of pipe. I even bought an inexpensive welder if i really need to weld. The hard part is finding the correct replacement part since I have no idea about exhausts. I'm finding that measurements need to be pretty exact or things wont fit right. I went under the car and measured everything with my calipers in MM's. I just ordered a 2.5 OD ball joint type connection that i'm hoping will work. It was expensive since I want 304 stainless so it wont rust. I could just have the thing welded but I want to keep it removeable in case I ever need to get the cat off again, I receently had the exhaust manifold replaced which is why the joint got all messed up and broken.

Heres what I ordered. Will have to trim it to fit.

For the other exhaust joint with the 2-bolt flange they sell two piece flanges, called a split flange, that fit over the exhaust pipe. Just have to find the correct size.
