06 E350 with PO778
Hi , hope someone can help me out . I have recently got a PO778 code and my transmission went to limp mode doesn’t shift to second gear. What should I do ?

Might help to know if you have a 722.6 or 722.9 - but I believe you have a conductor plate failure.

Well a few more details like whether it's a 4matic or RWD or even the VIN would help narrow it down.

Yes, we all know it's an E350. Just wondering whether it's 4matic or RWD. Unless you mean by E350, that it's not a 4matic which means it's RWD. RWD had the 7 speed transmission and the 4matic had the 5 speed transmission. The 7 speed would be the 722.9.

Using a vin decoder would also tell you exactly which transmission and the transmission number.
