If you look at the star in the middle and compare it to lionshead's grille, He's is from top to bottom and had seen this in person (ebay) not looks good as the one being discussed,big difference in my opinion.

I had that one previously and that's from Schatz.....its a good grill also. It's a matter of taste. If you like the more agressive look....get the one from formymercedes. If you like more settle look, the Schatz is a good compromise.

This grille also has the chrome surround.

For one thing it is printed backwards, OR will not fit the US grill.

The hole in the black grill for the Tongue to open the hood is shown on the left side. On my hood the Tongue to open the hood is on the right side of center.

Anyone?

Also, that grill on ebay only has 4 middle slats (like the non-appearance package grill) whereas some of the other sports grills (non CL type) have five slats. In fact, the photo of the silver E in the ebay ad has five slats, although the one he is selling only has four.

I like the CL type sports grill, but I'm not sure it will go with my platinum blue E500. All the examples I see are either black or silver.

the grill is great, but it's not my taste. is there any CLK/SL grill for W211? i like the one with 4 bars and no frame just like CLK/SL have.

I know those grills are made in Taiwan. I am going to get my brother to find the manufacture in Taiwan and maybe import those CL grill.... If I can make a deal w/ the manufacture and get them for $200 each. Who will be interested?? LET ME KNOW

It can be done but remember you will need to pay for freight, U.S. Customs Entry, Customs Duty (2.5% duty) and Fees (Merchandise/Harbor Maintenance), Single Entry Bond(unless you already have a yearly import bond), terminal fees, freight insurance (if you want to insure the freight), domestic inland freight to the parties interested and any other handling/documentation fees. If you go to the Fed Ex/UPS, these charges are usually included in the rate. If you plan to clear Customs yourself, you will need to go to your local U.S. Customs and Border Patrol office and provide docs such as commercial invoice/packing list and any other supporting documents from overseas.
