If your console has contact plate shown vehicle is pre-wired and you will need MB interface module B67875878 or newer version (increased compatibility) B67876131. No contact plate, search “Bluetooth” in this thread for further info.

Which console do you have? Rolltop with two cupholders inside, or the earlier version with the clamshell? I have an '05 E500 wagon without Bluetooth, and an '06 E55 with Bluetooth. I'll update with pics of my console and where the Bluetooth puck is located. As for connecting, I just have to press the phone button in the COMAND, and turn on the bluetooth on my phone. Connects slowly, but still works.

In that case it should be relatively simple. Find a puck (I just missed out on one back east for $20!) and plug it in. I don't recall the pass code for connecting, but was able to find it via a quick Google search.
