knocking sound when starting up
I own a 2005 kompressor, 1.8 w203, c class.
Since this morning I hear an intermittent knocking sound coming from the left side of the car. I just had the engine redone with all new parts at huge costs at a reputable Mercedes specialist. What could cause this?

Other than asking in the W203 forum instead of the W211 forum, I'd probably start looking for answers at the reputable Mercedes specialist that just redid the engine.
