FYI: No need to remove oil cooler/power steering tank when replacing camshaft magnets
I haven't seen any posts regarding this, but generally when replacing the camshaft magnets on the driver side of the engine most guides indicate that the oil cooler and power steering tank both need to removed to reach the bolts and remove the magnets, at least on the 3.5l V6 engine. I was able to remove and replace magnets on my car yesterday without needing is remove the oil cooler and power steering tank. Using these e-torx wrenches it makes the job possible.
* You need need the E8 size wrench to remove the bolts.
* Both camshaft sensors between the cam magnets need to removed, doing this gives you clearance to turn the wrench
* When removing the camshaft magnet behind the power steering reservoir, the power steering reservoir CAP needs to unscrewed and removed, if you do not remove the cap the magnet will not be able to slide out.
Hopefully this helps someone!
