Angry Wrong date. Looking for STAR advice

Hello! I have a problem. My Merc thinks it is 1976. Day, month and time is correct, but year is not. As I understand, it gets time/date from GPS. NAV and other systems works good, without problems. With this wrong date I have malfunction warnings on display about some services.
If I disconnect battery, year resets to 2003. After about 15 minutes it autosyncs and again it is 1976.

On command I can only change time, not date.
On panel I did not have any time/date options, so I cannot turn autosync from command OFF. I was at my friends workshop, he has STAR diagnostics. I have seen, that on Command it is possible to change time by minutes and enter date manually. We did not find that option to enable with STAR. Then we tried to enable time/date menu on instrument cluster, but programming options were in german and with our low german language knowledge we only found option which enables to choose from 12hour to 24hour format. So I have now on instrument cluster option date/time but only with 1 setting - 12/24 format.

So what I am looking for - advice how to dissable autosync with command, or enable manual year input on command with STAR Xentry. Maybe there is other solutions.
Thanks for your opinion and help.

I changed the date from command once before.

Recently, after the mechanic reset the service reminder with SDS, it now shows 1976 and now I can't change the date from command anymore..

I don't think you have told us what year your W211 is, but here is a page 165 from the Comand Operators Manual for my 2008 model:

Setting a correct date should not be a problem.

🤔

If I remember correct, these manuals can be downloaded from the MB website.

I've mentiond that the date option is greyed out. Navi not connected (No CD).

Mine is 2005. Read my post #2.

Maybe command reset ?
