Wire / cable of fuel pump

Hello friends

Mercedes Benz CDI E220 W211 Year 2005

I wanted to know where is the cable / wire of the fuel pump

I want to connect a GPS Tracker with a fuel shut off relay so i need the connection of the fuel pump. And I need a drawing of the fuel pump. And where the cable of the pump is located

If possible please send me a drawing / explanation where the cable passes the gas pump

Thanks

On cdi the high-pressure fuel pump is mechanical.
There is small electric priming pump, but I doubt cutting power to it will kill the engine.
So you need to do more research if you want a kill switch.

I have disconnected the electronic fuel pump fuse and tried starting the car, it didn't start. Once i have put the fuse back it started immediately.

So i guess, disconnecting the fuel pump would shut off the engine while running.

My next step is findind the fuel pump wire (12v and ground) so i can connect it to the relay

I wouldn't bet on it. Priming pump is definitely needed for priming.
Once the main pump is running it MIGHT create enough suction, that it works without priming pump.
Pull the fuse again with engine running

I have disconnected the fuel pump fuse while the engine is running, then the car started running rough and eventually the engine stalled. This means that the GPS with a fuel pump shut-off will work.

Next step is to find the fuel pump feed link and ground line

you have pump plug under rear seat. Take probe light to determinate correct wire, but it has to be thicker one.

You pretty much answered your own question. You found the fused link, you can disconnect the fuse panel and locate the wire or wires that feed the fuse. Then you can choose to cut there or back probe the wires to the fuel pump ...

Brown is ground Red is +!2v I looked on my E320CDI it's the same . Now you just need to figure out where you want to cut the wire and add your kill switch . Best of luck!
