E350 2008 problems NEED HELP

Car sat for 7 hours, started it up and it was shaking violently... tried accelerating and it wouldn’t go anywhere.. so I turned it off and waited til the morning. Scanned it and it was misfiring in 3 cylinders. I changed the plugs and coils it was misfiring in, and it didn’t change anything but the codes went away. So I exchanged the coils back with the old ones.. the codes didn’t come back on. The car is still acting the same. Car is shaking badly Won’t accelerate AT ALL when pressing gas. RPMs fluctuate by itself. Mainly stays at 1000. But acts like it’s revving up on its own. Noticed about three weeks ago that when I pressed the gas all the way down, the RPMs wouldn’t immediately go up, the car would accelerate, but it would be really slowly. Stuck and don’t know what to do! Any help is appreciated.

You need to get an MB specific code scanner. It may give you codes that the generic scanner won't give you.

Here's one for about $89 after the 10% off coupon code.

It can take a while to set a code. What are you confused about? You swapped out 3 coils and the code went away. Then you put them back and the code came back. What are you confused about again? You might actually have multiple problems which is why I suggested an MB code scanner. Sometimes if you have issues with the intake manifold, it will set an MB specific code, but not a CEL code which is where an MB specific code scanner would come in. Could be a few other things too.
