Help E350 Differential Bearings
HI, my pinion bearings went out in the diff of my 07 e350 rwd. Does anyone know if the differentials in the 4 matics are the same oness used in the rwd? I find the bearings online but the postings say for 4matics, anyone have any idea if they are interchangable? Thanks

What are your qualifications for differential rebuild?
Not too many shops attempt such repair, so it is definitely beyond DIY scope
But anyway, if you really want to go for it, get full WIS for the job as adjusting the clearances and torquing is critical.
The WIS will also tell you bearings sizes and shims you might need for the job.
Good luck.

I had my rear diff rebuilt by group (so to speak) who is selling that bearing on eBay. They are in westchester New York. I spent a fraction of what it would have cost to buy a used rear diff plus install.

Did you check ebay?
I was rebuilding Ford differential about 5 years ago and there was a company in Las Vegas who specialized in rebuild kits.
They gave me excelent price on gears and Timken bearing and top it with overnight free shipping to CA, while gears for Dana 80 were pretty heavy.
