Alarm Indicator Light Replacement?

Greetings all!

I was wondering if anyone out there knew how I could go about making the flashing alarm indicator light on CD changer panel more visible. It seems as over the years, the blinking alarm light located on the lock/unlock buttons has faded and is not as bright. Compared to the other lights on this piece, it is very dim.

Would any of the following options make sense?
  • Remove the panel and button and change the bulb? If so, does anyone know what type of bulb I would need to find to replace it? (Instructions would be great as well!)
  • Get a new CD changer panel from ebay?
Thanks guys!

No bulb, you can attempt to check UCP switch, see attachment. Need VIN to provide part # to shop for replacement.
