Avantgarde. 280. VW T5 camper

Hi I have an avant-garde 280. 2008. Been running great. However just developed a fault. Engine management light comes on and the next day it stays off.
My problems are.
1 Gears shift up with no kickdown. . Switch off the ignition then switch back the problem goes.
2 Maybe related to the engine management light.
Aircon switch just flashes 10 times then goes off.
Any help would be very much appreciated
