QUESTION: How to activate iPod connection

Aloha,

I have a 2008 E350.

It has an iPod 30pin connector.

When I connect a Bluetooth (Bovee 1000) with the Comand system set to Aux, nothing happens. The Bluetooth doesn't respond at all. No lights come on like the instructions says.

Is there something else I need to do to activate the Bovee device?

Is there a fuse specifically for the iPod connector that I need to check?

Would appreciate your help.

For the ipod, you hit the radio button and then select Aux. It's possible that your Bovee isn't getting power from the ipod connection as they changed the voltage at some point and there's a voltage converter out there on eBay. I have to use it on my 4th gen ipod touch. I prefer the ipod over bluetooth, you can still control the music with the steering wheel controls and bluetooth tends to skip once in a while which is the nature of bluetooth.

You can only have the AUX or Ipod connector hooked up, not both at the same time. If the AUX input isn't working it's probably not plugged into the stereo. You'll need to pull the stereo out to check.

BTW, what's an E350 AMG? I've never heard of them.
