Weird thing with central lock from remote
So i have this problem, when i lock my car and leave it for like 2-3h or so, remote doesnt work, no unlock or even lock. I have to open drivers door with a key, when i do that, i put the key into the ignition and unlock the car with buttons in console, then i remove the key and it works for some time. I then lock the car and it happens all the time. What should i do? Any advice? Thanks

I am having exact same issues, changed battery in both keyfobs and the car, when I leave the car for more than 6 hours it won't respond to RF or IR and when I open the car manually the alarm goes off, takes about 15 min of fiddling with the key in the ignition to eventually turn on. It doesn't seem to get charged by the EIS.

Did anyone ever fix this?
My CLK remote doesn’t work after being away for an hour or more. As soon as I put back in the ignition for a few seconds everything works fine...
I’ve taken to two mechanics who were unable to diagnose. Super frustrating opening the car with the blade every time I’m away for an hour.
Thanks!

2003 E320 same issue. New batteries all around (trunk, under hood and key fob)... but just to add to it, my consumers electric panel (seat heater, esp, door locks and 4 way flashers ) do not work until the car has been running for at least 20 min .... anybody else??

Same issue here on an 04 E320, the keyless go stopped working and the remote doesn't want to lock/unlock the doors most of the time. Replaced the batteries but no change. After several attempts walking around the car, it will sometimes work but I've also had to get the key out and manually unlock the drivers door a few times. When I open the drivers door all the doors will unlock but sometimes not.

“Could” be intermittent handle malfunction to confirm have someone pull fault codes using MB diagnostics.
