Brake lamp switch: replaced but not fixed

I recently had my car scanned as I had the ESP and cruise control error light on. Purchased a new brake lamp switch today put it in- took all of 5 minutes. No light came back on. Few hours later I'm back in the car and the lights are back on. Any idea?Brake lamp switch: replaced but not fixed-photo897.jpg

I recall it was stated that the EPS light in conjunction with the cruise control not working (you should test to see if it works or not) are the symptoms of a bad steering angle sensor....

Do a search and see if that helps....

Took the switch out and noticed I had that white button pushed in to much causing the brake lights to always be on! Adjusted it and drove 20 miles today- no light on! Thanks for help.
