Nav problems...need help...

Hi guys I've got an '04 command with NAV, but it's not showing me all the streets in my city. (only about 10%) I'm trying to find out if it's a bad disk or if it's just a bug in the system. I've got the latest DVD.

I know it's a big favor to ask but could someone check their NAV street listings to see if certain major streets show up on theirs that doesn't on mine.

Region : USA
City : Findlay, OH
Street Names : Melrose Ave. or Saddlebrook Dr.

Thanks for your help.

Try w melrose or e melrose.

Also, does it get any streets near saddlebrook? Are Innsbrook and Cypress streets nearby? If so, try just saddlebrook instead of saddlebrook drive.

Thanks interpol...

David I've tried both east and west varients plus the others and it's as if they don't exist.

Anybody else find it?

All the street exist in MapPoint. Melrose only as E or W. Saddlebrook without the Drive.

That's what I can't understand. Am I supposed to believe that MB's NAV is so basic that it doesn't cover a city of 40,000 with more than 10% of the streets?

Can anybody find more detail?

Actually, I called Navtech. I was curious.

MB licenses the data and produces their own DVD. The latest, version 2004.2, is apparently a week old and according to Navtech does include Findlay. They did day Findlay was a recent addition.

If you bought your car recently from a dealer in the Findlay area, and you live in Findlay or the area, I would ask to the dealer to provide the update at no cost. They should have alerted you that the nav didn't include your area in advance.

Anyway, with the update, it should.

Glad i'm not the only one

This exact issue has been frustrating the heck out of me with my E55. I could be on the Long Island Expressway and a LOT of the roads along side of it are not named. Just the lines. In comparison, when I had the '03 E500 this was not the case.

What is the price of the version 2004.2 update?
