What could be source of this noise

So I have this noise that sounds like it's coming from one of the pulleys. It appears to be from either the water pump or power steering pump pulley. I only hear the noise when the motor is roughly 600-700 RPM. I've replaced both the idler and tensioner pulleys. I also removed the serpentine belt and briefly let the car run to see if the noise went away (which it did).

Has anyone ever heard this with their car??

Try using a mechanics stethoscope to more accurately identify the location. Watch out when it's clipped to your ears and the hose is near a running fan belt.

good luck,
Peter
