Thumping brakes

I had a wheel bearing replaced and soon thereafter the brakes on the affected wheel started thumping like the ABS was catching and releasing. After revving the engine at moderate speed, the thumping stops. diagnostics show a wheel speed sensor error but changing the sensor does not cure the problem.

I bet whoever changed out the bearing didn't use the correct seal and or the wrong bearings, the seals have a magnetic strip in them that pulses the wheel speed sensor. Did they use MB or aftermarket parts? Did they use a dial indicator to set the wheel bearing preload? What wheel is this happening on? I'm betting it's one of the front wheels.
