Brake Problem Again!!!!

ok. My brake was making funny squeeking noise 3 weeks ago. I took it in to the dealer. Service told me they couldn't really find what the problem is, but still replaced the brake pad(only after 6000 miles!!). the noise went away......... for 3 weeks! Now, it's making noise again!! this time, IT WHISTLES!!!!!! louder! funnier sound!!! sounds just like someone whistling. Doesn anyone have the same problem?? how does MB fix the problem??

A lot of W211's here have the break squeals for some reason. Probably a rotor problem?

There's a blue glue that the service guys are supposed to apply to each brake caliper piston plunger before inserting the pads so that the pads are slightly glued to the piston. The phisical connection and the damping properties of the glue stop the squealing. Failing to apply the glue or doing it incorrectly or incompletely is the surest way I know of to get the squeeks. Also, MB delivers new pads with only a small amount of the stuff, so when I've done my pads myself (admitedly in a 95 E320, not the current W211), I've bought extra glue to make sure I get it right. Works every time. Might not be your issue, but worth a shot. My local shop is pretty careful about this step, so I've never had this issue with them, though my brakes did squeal the one time I had the dealership do it.
