Wheel size xentry /das coding?
Hi Guys
I changed the wheels on my E320 jumping from 16" to 19" and now I am getting ESP/ABS errors when I exceed 50mph; I have Xentry/DAS developer enabled but can't figure out where and how to recode the wheel size to avoid these errors. Can anyone help with a hint or even more detailed guidance? Thanks! B

Are you running the same wheels as me, 8.5 and 9.5 wide? I think I have 265/35 up front and 275 in the back with no errors.

Not really I have 8.5 and 10 but the issue is not how wide they are rather the diameter. You are running 19's on a car that came with 18's (E55) I went 3 sizes up (16 TO 19") so I need to figure a way to update the wheel/tire info in the computer or I'll keep getting the errors. The diameter difference induces speed difference that is above the accepted tolerance I guess, so once I hit 50 I get the errors on the info screen, if I stop and restart the errors are gone until I hit 50 again

You answered the question yourself. You went up 3 sizes in wheel size.... But most like likely what is happening is that there is a difference in speeds between the front and the rear tires. Your car wants to see the same speed, because that's what it has been told to do.

The speed is diameter dependent front and rears are within tolerance. What is happening is the computer sees a speed difference between the programmed value (16" rim) and the actual value (19" rim) I believe the factory tolerance is +- 3MPH or so.
Nevertheless I figured it out but forgot
to update you guys on what was all about... alignment, the car needed an alignment after the new rims once that was done no errors came ever.

So The OP asked on how to change parameters in DAS and the answers are for the different questions. Can someone please explain where in DAS we can find tire/differential configuration?
please, do not tell to put back original tires and rims.
