$6000 off MSRP!!!

I wanted to inform all of my MBWorld forum friends that I am running a Special for the month of July. On all remaining 2004 E320's I will be letting those cars go for $6000 off the total MSRP, but only if you let me know that you saw this ad on the forum. I look forward to hearing from anyone who is in the market for the remaining '04's!!! I will also give $6300 off total MSRP on the remaining '04 E500's w/exception of those with Premium and Appearance due to limited availability.

That might be able to cover my "upside down" on my lease!
Hmmm I'll crunch some #s and get back with you about an E500.
Thanks for the heads-up MarkusBenz!

Seems like a great deal, but ....

Sounds like a great deal, but like many forum members Buena Park, CA (I am assuming this is the dealer location) isn't quite in my neighborhood. I'm closer than some at about 2,000 miles away. I would be a little reluctant to purchase a vehicle even at this great price without seeing and driving it. Do we fly out for a visit? How much to have the vehicle trucked 2,000 miles or is it smarter to just drive it home assuming a mutual agreement can be reached?

Just wondering.

He has handled quite a few deals online and honestly you can schedule a drive in an E500 in your own area and take delivery remotely.

Driving the actual car you are buying

I can schedule a drive of an E500 locally. What I was referring to was driving the actual car that was being delivered before having it shipped across the country. Marcus certainly has a good reputation on the forum and I am not implying that he would be selling bad merchandise, I am just a little uncomfortable spending that kind of money without having seen or driven the actual vehicle itself.

Does that place me in the minority, at least on the forum? That being said, I am still tempted by that price.

If you special ordered the car from the factory, as I did, you wouldn't be able to drive it until delivery. So, what's the difference. I thought that I got a heck of a deal on my 500 at $5K off; $6.3K is fabulous. If I hadn't just bought one, I'd be tempted to order one and drive it across country to get it home.

I understand that buying a car that you have never driven it a little uncomfortable to some! However, if you can get over that hump, I have had people fly in and drive home, I have had people fly in and then trucked home and I have had people do everything via FedEx and trucked to them sight unseen (except for digital pics that I would provide). Also, think about the people who get their cars via European Delivery! They order, pay and then fly to a foregin country without seeing or driving the car!!! I am not saying that this process is for everyone, but if the savings can out weight the risk you feel, than it maybe worth it! BTW, trucking a car to the midWest = $1k and to the East coast = $1300!

Just as a point of reference, I bought my car from Marcusbenz 2 weeks ago, and had the same reservations. I actually asked to have my cousin go down to the dealership just to make sure the guy had a desk there and I wasn't going to send a check to some random person off of the internet. Turns out, they have a team of people at House of Imports in BP that deal primarily with selling cars via the Internet. Everything was professional, and Mark went out of his way to take care of me and my car at a great price. I ended up flying down and driving the car up, only because I was going to be in LA anyways for a graduation ceremony.

If you do a search for MarcuzBenz, i'm sure you'll find a ton of other satisfied customers who will likely vouch for his credibility.

I have a car at end of lease which the California lessor needs to get back to California if he can't find a mid-Atlantic buyer. He said that it would only cost ~$200 for someone to drive it. The driver would be bonded and the car would, of course, still be insured. Not sure, though, that I would trust my "new baby" to some guy who wouldn't care if it was broken in properly. Actually, I have made the coast-to-coast drive four times and would like to do it again. It's much better seeing America that way than from 40,000 feet. And what better way to get acquainted with your new Benz!

For what it's worth, next time around we too will be seriously considering MarcusBenz depending if my needs are not met locally. No problem taking delivery, we're always back and forth to CA.

Marcus-Benz was banned for posts a lot less obvious than yours. He paid his dues and his Sponsor fees and is therefore authoriized to post deals!

Late Built 2005 W-211 E-320 CDI
Question Ordering CDI for delivery outside CA?

Mark,

Are you able to arrange delivery of a CDI from another dealer's stock outside of California?

Also, is it possible for you to order a "built" CDI for delivery out-of-state?
Say to be delivered by a cooperating dealer in Oregon, Nevada or Arizona?

Thanks in advance.

The only way that I would be able to assist you with the CDI is through the European Delivery program. Unfortunately, I can only sell the cars inside CA that are legal in this state. I have investigated getting allocation on E.D. for people who have the ability to register the car outside of CA and can get a limited amount of cars.

Hi,

The CDI can be register in CA, but it need to have 7500+ miles on vehicles. I think Newport were delivering 5 CDI from FL to CA. The vehicle need to have 7500 miles before register in CA.

The CDI must be registered at other state first, then after 7500 miles to be register under CA which means buy an pre-owned CDI.
