e320 drivers side cloth panel wear
I've been searching the forums for a solution to guard against further wear on this item. Its the cloth panel that you rub against getting in and out of the car. Is there anything I can cover it with to protect it from further wear?

Not sure but our wagon has wear there as well. Funny as my wife & I don't touch that area when we enter or exit. Previous owner must have worn trench coats or something.
Since it is a piece of trim it probably could be removed and re-skinned with a similar colored fabric., You could also custom cut and heat bend up a piece of lexan or plexiglass to cover the area in question.
I'd upload a photo or the plexiglass clear corner guards but this site is currently blocking photo URL links calling them all "Invalid"...oh well.
