E320 California model fuel pump
I’m looking at purchasing a 2006 e320 California spec. The owner says the fuel pump went bad and the only way to repair it is to replace the entire fuel tank. I’m no stranger to vehicle repairs small or large. My question is this, could I install a regular w211 fuel tank from a non California spec or would it be to complicated due to some crazy emissions add on for California models? Thanks

FYI if you’re referring to 2006 E350 PZEV under CA 15 year/150,000 mile Emission Warranty MB dealer will replace complete tank assembly at no cost.
