I thought this thread was a great idea.

I just knew it would end up with one picture, then loads of questions and opinions, ride heights, price, suppliers..........................

For it to work there should just be pictures with a note of the wheels and size and perhaps tyres. PM posters for more info.

It would be great to have a thread with just pictures of aftermarket wheels.

Thanks. They're 19x8.5F and 19x9.5R, ET38 all around. They're replicas

I don't know what the shop used to lower, they said it was a stock piece that they used, a longer arm for the sensor. They didn't let me watch while lowering.

Jus a thought...but to even better the looks I would tell you to invest in some impact stripes for the car. I think it will clean out that amber on the gorgeous color of you car. Jus my 2 cents...Other then that you're car is definitely sick!~!

Dumb question - Where do you get those? Do they have to be painted, or can you order them in the color of your car?

Thanks,

Those replicas sure fooled me! Thought they were authentic Brabus! Loving your car man! Might have to get me a set if they look that good!

Yep, I will have to get some Euro Impact Strips to get rid of the amber marker...

Here's a close-up pic. The rear lip is larger in person. I was quite happy when I saw how deep it was for replica wheels.

These wheels didn't cost me much since I got the wheels and tires at wholesale cost (friend owns a shop). I'll just say that I got them for under $2,000 mounted, wheels and tires! I'd rather bend these (if it happens) than $1,000 to $1,500 a piece Brabus' or HREs.

Thanks,
You can call CEC. They have it. You don't have to paint it, you jus tell them what color your car is and they will have it painted for you.

So I wanted to know if you were his brother or if someone else had a silver E55 with black rims...

BTW my friend told me one time you gave him a ride from a gas station with the E55, and my friend who is a bmw-freak, couldn't stop talking about how your cars speed almost broke his neck...

So there's the solution to converting someone into a benz fan, give them a ride in a 55.

I'm Arthur, yea he really loved it...

Your brother and I used to crack a lot of jokes and stuff in class, funny guy, smart too, I dunno if he'll remember me now though its been a while since we had a class together.

Anyway, just wanted to say you have a nice *** car, just don't drive past me too many times, I find myself losing attention of the road and staring at your car, and I almost crashed twice because of it, hehe.

One reason I love havin 20's is because it fills the wheel well so well that it makes it seem like you don't need a drop. That is why I didn't drop my car just yet.
