NAV problem...stopped working.

NAV problem...stopped working.
anyone else have a nav problem where it basically just stops working? the coordinates don't show up anymore, the map says i'm offroad in the middle of nowhere, etc.
actually, the map said that i was in the pacific ocean the other day, etc.
went to the dealer. he thought it might be a bad antenna...said he took it apart, talked to headquarters, etc.
they did a reset and it seems to work now. dealer guy said that a new firmware update will be available in a few weeks and that he got 2 more cars in like mine and said that a lot of cars' NAV stopped working (across different brands, etc.).
basically stopped working suddenly about 2 weeks ago on a sunday afternoon but like i said, after the dealer did the reset it's fine for now. just wondering if this is common.

I had this problem once when I drove into Manhattan through Lincoln Tunnel. It was all distorted and I was in the blue area as well. I got out of the tunnel and pulled over and stopped the car and restarted it and it was fine after that. Ever since then, it hasnt happened again..

But seriously, if it should happen to not only yourself, maybe it's a glitch in the software itself in other NAVs.
