TPMS inoperative

Fairly new owner of a 2009 E350. The other day I received a warning that the tpms was inoperative. I restarted the car and the tire pressure light was blinking. I was able to reset the system via the steering wheel controls. Everything was fine and it popped up again. Can't find a thread on why this would happen. Any advise?

Same here. Just put on a set of new tires with new TPMS sensors and getting the same message. Reset the TPMS before this popped up. Old
sensors were made in 2008, thought it was time for a new set. Any thoughts as to why this would happen?

I think you should scan it to get some idea about what is happening. Unfortunately, I have no idea what it could be

I disabled my TPMS system (W219 CLS) with my Autel Maxipro, because I don't want to spend time and money to get it fixed with new sensors at the moment.

Discount Tire re-programmed the sensors and it now appears all is right with the world. Hopefully it will last. (fingerscrossed).

DOES your TPMS only tell you there is a problem but not which tire is the problem? No display of wheels and their pressures?

My TPMS only tells me that there's a problem, no display of which wheel, or their tire pressures.

thats referred to as Low Line TPMS. I dont have any TPMS on my 2006. I am going to install High Line TPMS, one of these days, which shows pressures at every wheel. Need to get a C4 scanner first.

My 2005 E320 doesn’t have TPMS. How do you install a High Line TPMS?

you need brackets and antennas for the front wheels (I have), TPMS module, main harness (tricky because I have to modify one), central antenna and harness(I have), wheel pressure sensors.
depend where you live which frequency you need 315mhz for USA.
And MB Xentry software and C4 to enable it.

low line does not have front wheel antennas
