Having trouble with the crankshaft position sensor

Hey guys,
About two months ago my car was giving me trouble. I drove it for about an hour, but after I parked the car it wouldn't start again. I didn't have time to look at it because I was moving to a different state. After moving, one day my car died on me while I was driving. The car wouldn't start and I had to get it towed to my house. I read the code and replaced my crankshaft position sensor a few days ago but the car still wouldn't start. I even took off the harness and placed it back in a few times but no luck. What do you guys think it could be? The car cranks but it doesn't start.

Air, fuel, spark. That's all you need. Put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and see if you have pressure. If not, it is either the relay, fuse, filter, or pump. If pressure, next is to verify air flow (easy), and spark (not as easy but still not difficult). Consider the possibility you purchased a knock-off low-quality sensor or a connector came loose.

Pelican Parts has a great DIY on how to verify. Start here:

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll definitely take a look at all of those. And the sensor I bought was from Beck-Arnley. I didn't think they're too bad with their parts, but do you think I should still buy a Bosch sensor and replace it just to be sure?

Check your fuel pressure before you throw any more parts at it. You can get a fuel pressure gauge for about $20. Your fuel rail should have a schrader valve on it to which you can connect the gauge. If pressure is good, then you can look at a CPS. You could just pull out the CPS and test it per Pelican Parts' instructions.
