Help identifying seat bottom...

I have a 2004 E320 and my left side (drivers) seat bottom has a tear in the MB-Tex, and I thought it might be easier to simply replace it with a good used one.

I found a seat bottom on ebay for a "03-06 W211" that seemed to match my seat; the seller said it came out of a 2005 E320 Wagon (and he did not include the storage compartment on the front of the seat which I assumed I would have to remove my compartment and re-attach to the donor seat...).

When I received the ebay seat bottom, it looks identical to my seat FROM THE TOP, but FROM THE SIDE, you can clearly see that the ebay seat is thinner (doesn't have the trim panel on the side bottom), and is not the same? See the picture below taken from the left (drivers) side door with the ebay seat sitting on top of my seat (they aren't exactly lined up, but you hopefully you get the idea):

Am I missing something, is there some other style of seat (are they different for wagons?)?

I saw some '07-'09 seats listed on ebay that look more like my seat? Is it possible that I have 07-09 seats in my '04 (are they interchangeable)? I haven't taken my seat bottom out yet, maybe there is a part number on the seat bottom (I couldn't find any numbers on the ebay seat bottom)???

Any info, advice, or suggestions would be appreciated...
