Hey Zamax, I have my sights on a 2009 W211 E550, and regardless of whether the air suspension is in working order or not, I will be swapping it out with a $1,000 Strutmasters conversion kit, shown in the link below.

https://www.strutmasters.com/product...dule-me34fm-2/

The next link is to a Youtube video posted by the Conforti Brothers, who are the ONLY people that have described in detail how their E550 handled after the air to coil spring conversion had been done. The Conforti brothers both agree that the handling of their E550 is superb, after the conversion.

A grand is a lot to pay for a complete suspension change, but when one considers the price of constantly repairing an air suspension as it ages, switching to coil springs is a prudent way to save money in the long run. The Strutmaster kit comes with an electrical module that will turn off all dash error messages, after the suspension has been converted to coil springs.

Mercedes-Benz S430, S500, S600, and E320 CDI
My W211 already has coil springs, but I have converted a W220 from ABC (hydraulic version of AIRmatic) to coil springs using the Strutmasters kit. It was a resounding success. No dash messages. The car handles very well.

The key is to get the kit specifically for your model of car. That includes the engine type, as different engine types have different masses. For example, the kit for the S430/S500 will not work as well on, say, my S600 TT as the kit for the S600 TT does, due to the V12 engine being heavier. But I can second a recommendation for Strutmasters; their kits work.

The only kit available in my country is of E350, thats the only option i have to convert to. Is it will work well.

There might be some subtle differences between the Strutmasters coil spring conversion kit the E550, and the E350, though this is just speculation on my part. That said, I thought all E350 cars came stock with coil spring suspensions, from the factory.

If online purchases are possible where you are, I would strongly recommend that you buy the coil spring conversion kit that is specific to the E550, directly from Strutmasters, so that you can be certain there will be no problems with the fit and ride height.

Unfortunately the online purchase is not possible, i only have a few narrowed choices that one of them is of the E350. If you were sure that the E350 ones are not good for the E550, can u suggest me some of other MB serious that their coils are good substitute.

You could check to see if SUNCORE coil spring conversion kits are available where you are, though I recall reading recently that Suncore has folded. https://suncoreindustries.com/catego...onversion-kits

The final alternative would be ARNOT, at the following link https://www.arnottindustries.com/pro...air-suspension
