Esp light on

Hello to all, I'm new in here, I have a 2008 e350w4 with 110k on it, and other day I did load up the car with 5 bags of pellets which it's about 200lbs, when I did get inside the car and turn on the engine the esp light came on. After i unload the car the light was off for couple days, and now it's back full time. My question is? The load sensor or anything related to the loading lvl can trip the esp light? Any help will be appreciated. Ty in advance.

You need to get the car scanned to figure out exactly what the problem is. The load in the car might have nothing to do with it. There are several components that could trigger that error from a simple brake light switch to the yaw sensor. The load in the rear could have been an issue with the wheel speed sensor. There's also the steering angle sensor in the steering wheel, that just progressively gets worse which may be your problem. The simplest fix is the brake light switch, but that's not too common, nor is the yaw sensor. Most common is the steering angle sensor or the the wheel speed sensor. Getting the car scanned for MB specific codes will tell you what triggered it.

There's also several makers of scanners out there, cheaper than taking it to the dealer, they are typically in the $100-$200 range. Icarsoft, Autel, Launch, etc.
