Looking at 2003 or 2004 E500- have a simple question

Looking at 2003 or 2004 E500- have a simple question
Hello- I know how knowledgable everyone on these forums are, so I thought I'd throw a simple question out there about the 2003/2004 E500's- What does the "sport package" include? Is it simply the Xenon lights, different bumpers, etc?

p.s.- If I didnt live in an area with snow, I would've looked at the E55- it's too bad they don't make that with the 4matic- does anyone think MB will in the future???

hey, the sport package includes rims, tires, black wood, xenons, and maybe a couple of other things, but the best thing would be to go to mbusa.com and check it out, it will give you exact details.

i dont know about the 4matic E55, i havent heard of any rumors, but i wish they had AWD on theier AMG cars, then they could handle pretty well. GL!

2004 E500 / 2001 C240
The only 4 wheel drive AMG is the nice square truck.. The G.

4 wheel would defeat the purpose of a muscle (super)car.. A rally car would be great with 4WD though..

Oh yeah and the dash gauges are white with the Appearance package as well as the side skirts are a bit different.

atssystems, you've got to be kidding right? Why would AWD defeat the purpose of a "muscle" car? It adds a few extra pounds, but we're not talking about a lightweight to begin with...and the handling would improve considerably.

Go for the '04. They can be had w/ satellite radio, Nav, & seem to have less problems. I, myself am thrilled with my car.

Ditto. I've had no problems with my '04. From all of the various threads on reliability, it appears that the '03s had a lot of problems which, for the most part, were fixed in the '04s -- especially the later builds. That's not unusual with the first and second years of a new model.
