In Dash CD Changer Door Clicking
Just bought a 2007 E350, in dash CD changer door is clicking as if trying to open and close. Happens sometimes when I open the car and get in and every time I open and close the cover. See attached video.

Ultimately removed CD changer and removed the swing arm assembly that attached the motor to the mechanism that opens and closes the door. Sometimes the motor runs for a minute but that’s all. No not clicking. I’m guessing there is some sort of tension sensor in the motor assembly that is not working. The CD changer door doesn’t work now but then again who uses a CD changer.
