Any way to bypass the headlight washers?

Is there a way to bypass the headlight washers on my 2003 e500? I have a leak on my hose near the driver's headlight, I can see it drip daily and I get that LOW WASHER FLUID message after 1 or 2 days. I'm looking to plug it up near the washer tank, but still be able to use it to spray on my windshield. Is this possible without getting some sort of error message? I never use those headlight washers anyway. I don't want to take off the bumper and to fix this either.

I just cut the line when I had the front bumper off and plugged both sides. That way its easy to put it back together with a hose barb if need be. Disconnecting at the washer tank and plugging that way would work as well, as Plutoe said.
