E220 CDI 2005
Hi,
I have E220cdi 2005 w211 and i can't check engine oil level, i searched on the internet the ways to check oil but none of them works for me as you can see on the pictures the oil level line is missing its not there.
Any ideas how should i check my engine oil level?

tried checking it without going into that service menu?
as in turn ignition on and scroll through using steering wheel buttons until you find the oil measurement screen

although you may have already tried it, the main way i check the oil level is by turning ignition on (2 turns) and using the 2 lower lh side buttons scroll until you see digital vehicle speed, then using the up down arrows scroll until you see the engine oil level measuring message and wait a few minutes provided you've gotten the car to operating temp or you may need to wait a while longer

Is it OM651 engine. ?
They took till 2014 to make it to America and forum knowledge about them is limited.
Anyway, my 2014 E250 Bluetec does not read oil level on the cluster. Wonder why after 25 years of digital readouts MB abounded the feature, but I trust MB engineers they had good reason.

thats a little concerning, if you havent already done so i'd be changing oil and filter just to make sure it's got the recommended level of oil

MB start putting low oil sensor on their engine around 1986 and this is not only convenience, but also safety measure as some engines were build without oil pressure gauges.
Meaning not likely they will delete such sensor, although new technology surprised me more than once.

1. Key on position 1 and go to temperature/kmh menu depends on what is your main screen and then press reset button 3 times and it shows me just that i posted in the pictures above everything is shown just oil level line is not there.
2. Key on position 1 and go to temperature/kmh menu and then press and hold reset button until it beeps around 30seconds and then go one menu back.
3. Key on position 2 go to temperature/kmh menu and scroll with arrows up or down until u find engine oil measurement or something like that and in this case it just shows if oil level is ok or how much to add.
and my car does not have anything of that
