My Key FOB doesnt blink red upon pressing a button.... But when I put key in ignition, the red light on the key starts blinking nonstop .. Is this a key fob battery issue or the key fob itself?

 

First step check/replace batteries, clean marrying surfaces before installing. How does the second key react?

 

Yeah im gonna wait until AutoZone opens up and catch an Uber to buy more batteries. Last time I bought new batteries (about 2 weeks ago) when i put them in and slid the compartment back in, the red light would blink once and thats it.. But it did start my car ..... Now its ONLY blinking once in the ignition... I hope this isnt a security type of thing
