Those are nice, but not enough rim for me - if that makes any sense....
BTW I'd be using the cup kit to lower my Benz so it doesn't look like a 4x4.
Off Topic Question
Anyone know how much it is to get smoked rear lights for the E?

Does anyone have any pictures of a E on those Lorinsers or HRE's or Any of the rims I posted besides the Brabus?

not the AMG ones. Pretty much all mercedes S class has them. I have the last one. I think it looks the nicest w/ the new E. The others are ok. If you want pictures of the Brabus monoblock 6 on a pewter car. I will show you pictures of my car.

Electro E.
I think the perfect size for the E class is 19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear. At least that's what Brabus does on the car. But, 20" wheels look much better. Also lowering the car will get rid of the gap between the wheels and fenders. Makes a big difference! But, the thing is..... w/ 20" wheels and lowering, There is a big possibility of rubbing the fender. Mine did. Especially when you carry passengers going into a parking lot. Must be very careful. I think maybe getting superlow profile tires or rolling the fender will help.

Man this is really a tough decision...
I like the brabus, but there are soo many of them...
I don't know Axis as a company, so I'm not sold on them...
The Lorinser replicas are nice, but I don't know if they'd match the E..
The AMG rims are real nice, but look to Stock if you know what I mean
I really like the Hamann lip, but again I've never seen a E with those, so I don't know how it would look...
The only things I know for sure about my car right now is that I'm getting the Brabus front bumper, AMG Quad Exhaust,Side Skirts,Rear bumper, the CL Grille, and 19's - but I don't know which type. I'm going to buy that cup kit with the springs and shocks to lower the car because: 1. The car looks like a 4 by 4 if you have 19's w/o a drop, 2. The rims look smaller w/o a drop....
BTW, do you have any pics of your E?

It would only rub if you change the offset or the diameter. From the pictures, many people if large diameter wheels are also reducing the offset, widening the track, and possibly causing the tire to rub.
Lower the car can also increase the possiblity of a tire rub.

Well, there are many other wheel companies out there. If you have the $$, I would rather get something authentic, even if it's not by super well known companies like Brabus, or Lorinser. There is a set of wheels by DPE that looks like the Brabus one. I like it a lot and it's a lot cheaper. I think someone has a used set for sale in the Classified. You should check it out.
Yes, If you don't drop your car, It will totally look funny. W/ 20" rims, I think if you get the right width and right size of tire, it shouldn't have problem rubbing the fender, since many companies like Lorinser and Carlsson offer 20" for the E class. Ok, here is a couple pictures of my car. Oh, it also has the Brabus front. good luck.

Who makes the replicas (are the original designs copywrited?) and do they come in a one-piece design (without the bolts)?

There are several manufactures that made the replicas. most of them are Lorinser, AMG, and Brabus, since they are the popular, expensive brands. The makers are mostly it Taiwan. a few well known ones are ACE, MOVEN, and MONET. They are decent wheels, of course all pass the safety standards and requirements. Pattern and style is almost identical... only doesn't have the symbol/name on the wheels. They are also one piece w/ the fake bolts and heavier than the authentic ones... But, one piece is heavier than multi-piece anyway. Don't be fooled by the lilst price you guys see on Ebay or any site. Just because the list price is only half of the price of the authentic wheels, doesn't mean they are good price. I would say. Pay no more than $800 for four 18" (no tires), $1000 for four 19", and $1200 for 20". AND! that's a conversative guess. If you know the right place, now how to bargain, you can even get them cheaper. Ok. hope this helps.
