Oil in coolant

Oil in coolant
Hi all I have a 05 320cdi that has oil iin the coolant not just a trace but thick heavy consistency like mayo. The car runs great and the cooling system doesn’t build up excess pressure and the car doesn’t overheat so I think it’s the oil cooler. What’s the best way to get rid of the sludge like coolant which has circulated all round the cooling and heater system? Thanks

Get some shop-grade paper towels, cut on stripes that will fit into coolant cap hole and keep on skimming.

Just for discussion....do you have a transmission fluid radiator attached to your regular radiator? Could it be transmission fluid in the radiator?

It’s definitely engine oil as it’s black and as I said previously it’s the consistency of mayonnaise
